Bye
Bye Birdie Photo Album
In
March 2002, Janna and Joe played the lead roles of daughter and father (Kim
Macafee and Harry Macafee, respectively) in the FPAC production of Bye Bye
Birdie in Franklin, MA. Janna sang, acted and danced her way through the role
of the precocious Kim (the role Ann Margaret played in the movie) while Joe
stomped and sang his way through the role of the irate and aging dad. Much
to their surprise local newspaper reviews focused on the two and were positive.
For both Janna and Joe it was a special performance since this was the first
(and only) time that the two have been onstage exchanging lines together.
(Webmaster's note: These pictures are from both performances and from live-run
dress rehearsals, none of them were posed, thus some blurs. There are currently
2 pages of these photos and there will be more added as they come in from
other sources. This is NOT the official FPAC/FSPA photo set and should you
want hardcopy prints of the show, you should be able to buy them starting
in mid-April 2002 by visiting their website: http://members.tripod.com/FPAC/
or by phoning the Franklin School for the Performing Arts at 508-528-8668).
